After "The Lives They Lived" I picked up a very interesting story about Irma Zielinksi a woman, mother of three, whom her children loved very much. The subject of the article is the way Grace, John and Sandra remembered their mother through a portrait that was left as inheritance to them.

In the article, the anecdotes that the Zielinski children had about their mother's picture are told. They told of how much they teased her about it and on how much would she like to show it off. And the impression that I get from reading it is that Mrs. Zielinski was a really loved person, this is by the way that her children described her, the meaning behind the portrait and the value that they gave to it after their mother died.

I believe that the article was published in the NY Times because of the story about this family. I found it to be very sweet and interesting, plus its not a very common story to hear about and it talks about unconditional love towards a really cherished mother. I would be very interested though in getting to know more about the in-depth story of the portrait itself, when was it made and what were Mrs.Zielinski thoughts about such beautiful anniversary present. For that, I would need to interview Irma's children once more to see what would I be able to find out.
